At Saratoga Wire, we believe that information is critical to Democracy. Understanding what your government is doing is one of the best ways to make sure it's doing what's best for the city and its residents. To that end, we're finding ways to bring you as much information as we can about your government at work.

The Saratoga Springs Planning Board is a government body that reviews development projects in the city. While few know of its work, the decisions made by the board can sometimes have a great affect on the community.

Prior to every Planning Board meeting, Saratoga Wire will provide a map with links to the matters being discussed at that meeting. Now you can easily find out what's changing in your neighborhood, and your city.

The next meeting takes place on Wednesday, October 10th, at 7pm. The meetings are held in the City Council chambers at City Hall and are open to the public. When you enter city hall through the Broadway doors, go to the end of the hall. The council chambers will be on your right.

There is also a workshop held prior to the main meeting. The workshop is Tuesday at 5pm, also in city council chambers.

This week there are three items for consideration.

Each item under consideration by the planning board is marked by a blue icon. Clicking on each icon will bring up details of the particular item.

These items are taken from the Planning Board's draft agenda. While it is unlikely, it is posible that sometimes the items can change before the meeting.
